Overview

Titrate is designed with your privacy as a foundation, not an afterthought. Your data belongs to you. Everything you enter is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to Titrate or any third party, except for the anonymous usage statistics described below.

What data does Titrate store?

Titrate stores the following data locally on your device: medication names and doses, daily metric scores, side effect logs, notes, phase history, and app settings including your name and notification preferences. If you subscribe to Titrate Pro, your subscription status (active or inactive) is also stored locally on your device.

None of this data is collected, transmitted to, or accessible by Titrate or any third party, with the exceptions noted below.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored locally on your device. It does not leave your device except in the following circumstances, and in the case of anonymous analytics as described in the Third parties section below:

iCloud Backup: If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, Apple may include your Titrate data as part of your standard device backup. This backup is stored in your personal iCloud account and is not accessible to Titrate. You can manage iCloud Backup in your iOS Settings under your Apple ID.

Purchases: If you subscribe to Titrate Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple via StoreKit. Titrate does not handle, process, or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs this transaction. Your subscription status (active or inactive) is stored locally on your device only.

Third parties

Titrate uses PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics service, to collect anonymous usage statistics. This data helps us understand how the app is used and improve it over time. No personal information, entry content, scores, or notes are ever included.

Each installation is assigned a randomly generated identifier that is not linked to your name, email, or any account — Titrate has no accounts. Like most apps that use a network connection, your device's IP address is visible to our analytics provider at the point of connection, which can reveal an approximate location (such as your city). We are actively working to disable this, and this policy will be updated once that change ships.

Data collected includes events such as app sessions starting, entries being logged, phases being created, reports being generated, and changes to your analytics preference — never the content of what you log.

This data is processed by PostHog and stored on servers within the European Union. You can opt out of anonymous analytics collection at any time from the Settings screen within the app.

Children

Titrate is not intended for use by children under the age of 13

Your data, your control

You can delete all data stored by Titrate at any time from the Settings screen within the app. Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data from your device. If your data has been included in an iCloud Backup, you can manage or delete those backups from your iOS Settings.
